The Beck by Anthony McGowan - Display Packs

Barrington Stoke is offering 10 packs to libraries and schools to celebrate the publication of Carnegie Medal winning author Anthony McGowan's new book!
Each pack will include the following:

About the book
Kyle is less than pleased about getting dumped at his eccentric old grandad’s for the day, but a whole new world opens up to him when he’s introduced to the marvels that can be found in the beck at the bottom of his grandad’s garden. Once filthy and full of rubbish, the beck has been cleaned up and is now full of amazing creatures. But this magical world is under threat from a new development. Kyle’s grandad is determined to stop the builders, but when he falls ill, Kyle decides to carry out the plan himself, finding courage and new friends along the way.
How to take part
This is one pack per public library. If you are ordering more than one pack (to disperse to other libraries in your region) you need to also email kathleen.Ktorides@readingagency.org.uk to notify her of the individual library names that the packs will be used at. Alternatively, you can do individual orders for each library in the shop.
You can order the packs until 14 February but they may sell out before this date.
The publisher will be dispatching your resources. They will receive a dispatch list with your contact name and work address (which you give) for delivery. They will only deliver the pack requested and the dispatch list will then be deleted after the packs have been sent.
