Elmer Day 2026 - Elmer Day Event Pack

To celebrate the National Year of Reading this Elmer Day, Andersen Press are offering 40 lucky schools & libraries an events bundle!

 The Elmer Day event pack includes:

  • Bright and bold patchwork bunting (3 metres)
  • A3 reversible event poster with 3D AR Elmer QR code in partnership with High Street Safari
  • Elmer sticker sheets
  • Downloadable Activity Pack (26 pages of crafts, activities and reading guides)
  • How to run an Elmer Day Event guide
  • Access to downloadable social media assets

Everyone is invited to Go All In and join the fun this Elmer Day, and while the official date for this year’s Elmer Day is Saturday 23rd May, we invite you to celebrate at a time that works best for you, whether that’s sharing Elmer stories and wearing colourful clothing throughout the week before, or hosting craft sessions during Half Term.

If you order an Elmer Day pack you are agreeing to hold an Elmer Day celebration in your school or library, sharing photos on social media using #ElmerDay and tagging @AndersenPress/@elmerthepatchworkelephant and @readingagency. You will also need to feedback on how you used the provided resources to Kimberley Sheehan by 12 June 2026.
